Baseball Recap: La Grange Falls Short of Burnet in the Playoffs

La Grange and Burnet squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but La Grange had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

La Grange's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Burnet, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

While La Grange had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
