Clayton Valley Charter extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-5-1 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Alhambra Bulldogs. Six seems to be a good number for the Ugly Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Camdyn Alton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chloe Herico, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Anja Perreira was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As for Alhambra, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Clayton Valley Charter: they've now lost nine in a row.
