Softball Recap: New Milford Takes a Loss

New Milford fell victim to Brookfield and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 last Monday.

New Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Brookfield, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Coming up, New Milford will challenge Ridgefield at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Green Wave 2.5, the Tigers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Brookfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
