Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Lily Smigiel stepped things up a notch to give Marquette the 'W'. Smigiel went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. The effort marked the most RBI she has had over her last 11 contests.

Smigiel and Marquette will face off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Boyne City, so the Sentinels will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
