Football Game Preview: Lawson vs. Mid-Buchanan

Mid-Buchanan have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Lawson at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Mid-Buchanan, but that can only make success all the sweeter.

Last Friday, Mid-Buchanan put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past West Platte 46-8. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Mid-Buchanan had established a 28-8 advantage.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the game between Lawson and Penney was still a pretty decisive one as Lawson wrapped it up with a 20-0 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lawson.

Mid-Buchanan ended up a good deal behind Lawson when they played the last time the two teams met, losing 18-33. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
