Football Recap: Star-Spencer Comes Up Short

Star-Spencer lost against Purcell back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats were beaten by the Dragons 58-6. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Star-Spencer's record now sits at 1-7. As for Purcell, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Looking ahead, Star-Spencer will head out to take on Pauls Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Purcell, they will host Heritage Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
