Volleyball Game Preview: Lindhurst Blazers vs. Vacaville Christian Falcons

The Lindhurst Blazers will head out to take on the Vacaville Christian Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Lindhurst has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Monday, Lindhurst narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Woodland Christian 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lindhurst got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-27, 25-14, 21-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Vacaville Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

One reason for the win was Vacaville Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-6.

Lindhurst's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Vacaville Christian, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2.
