Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is Quitman's Fifth in Last Six Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Quitman rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Grace Christian Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Quitman is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Grace Christian, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-10.

Quitman has already played their next game (against Stanley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
