Softball Recap: Lake Mills Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Lake Mills's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Whitewater Whippets with a sharp 11-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the L-Cats needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Lake Mills' victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Whitewater, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Mills will square off against Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitewater, they will take on Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
