Soccer Game Preview: Konos Academy vs. Creekside Christian Academy

Konos Academy is a perfect 5-0 against Creekside Christian Academy since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Condor will look to defend their home pitch against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Konos Academy is headed into the match having not lost since February 25 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Holy Spirit Prep get on the board and left with an 8-0 win last Tuesday. Considering Konos Academy have won six contests by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Creekside Christian Academy waltzed into their game last Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Creekside Christian Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Eagle's Landing Christian Academy are ranked 398th).

Makenzie Black and Emily Driggers scored both of Creekside Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Konos Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-2-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six contests. As for Creekside Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Konos Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Creekside Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March, winning 2-0. Will the Condor repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
