Softball Recap: Schulenburg Comes Up Short

Schulenburg fell victim to Weimar and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Wildcats. The Shorthorns' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Schulenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Weimar, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Schulenburg will square off against Ganado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Shorthorns' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Weimar, they will challenge Moulton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
