Basketball Recap: Dayton's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dayton had won two straight games and Lucas Antonio did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Dayton Bulldogs strolled past the Governor Livingston Highlanders with points to spare, taking the game 47-33 thanks in part to Antonio, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 boards gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nicky Perez, who posted seven points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Governor Livingston, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Dayton will venture away from home to square off against Union on Tuesday. Governor Livingston has already played their next match (against South Brunswick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
