West Stokes is 8-1-1 against North Surry since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out to challenge the Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Stokes' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Parkland with a sharp 3-0 win. Considering West Stokes have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Surry). They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over West Wilkes on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what North Surry needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

West Stokes now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for North Surry, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-3-1.

West Stokes came up short against North Surry in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
