Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

King's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gaither Cowboys. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost three in a row.

MAHMOUD JNIAT and FEDGINALD ZIDOR scored both of King's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

King's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Gaither, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

King will square off against Blake at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gaither, they will welcome Tampa Bay Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
