Baseball Recap: Pleasanton Takes a Loss

Pleasanton lost against Crest on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pleasanton came up short against Crest, falling 17-7. The Blu-Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasanton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Carpenter, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Crest, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pleasanton is set to face off against their familiar foe Southeast at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Crest will square off against rival Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
