Softball Recap: Nevada Union Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nevada Union's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Yuba City Honkers on Tuesday. The Miners have struggled against the Honkers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Nevada Union saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Rubiales, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Nevada Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Yuba City, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3-1.

Coincidentally, Nevada Union and Yuba City will both be playing Roseville the next time they take the field. The Miners will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Honkers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
