Recap: Peebles Indians vs. Fairfield Lions
The Peebles Indians lost against the Fairfield Lions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Peebles received a tough blow as they fell 58-39 to Fairfield. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Peebles has scored all season.
Larkin Friend continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fairfield, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Friend also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan McIntosh, who scored six points along with six assists.
Peebles' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Fairfield, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Peebles will be home for the holidays to greet North Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville-Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville-Perry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 722nd, while Fairfield is ranked 131st).
