Baseball Recap: Glenwood Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Glenwood had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Red Oak on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 9-0 shutout. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Glenwood's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-13. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Red Oak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
