Basketball Recap: Milford Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Milford extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaidyn Mcmullin. The Milford Tigers breezed by the Escalante Moquis to the tune of 59-27 on Wednesday thanks in part to Mcmullin, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and five steals. Those six assists gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Paizlee Florence, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Milford pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Escalante, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Milford will venture away from home to challenge Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Escalante, they will host Freedom Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
