Volleyball Recap: Otto-Eldred Extends Winning Streak to Three

Otto-Eldred waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Northern Potter Panthers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Terrors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Otto-Eldred never let Northern Potter on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-22.

Rayel Hakes paced Otto-Eldred's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hakes got some help from Emma Button and her 29 assists. Hakes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Otto-Eldred's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Northern Potter, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Otto-Eldred is set to challenge their familiar foe Austin at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northern Potter will face off against rival Galeton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
