Basketball Recap: Mount Morris Comes Up Short

Mount Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-30 loss at the hands of the Pavilion Golden Gophers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Gophers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-28 back in December of 2025.

Mount Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pavilion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Mount Morris wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-50 loss against York on the 29th. As for Pavilion, they have also already played their next matchup, a 67-57 victory against Keshequa on the 31st.
