After a string of five wins, Copperas Cove's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Neither they nor the Gatesville Hornets could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Bulldawgs happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 3rd.

Nathaniel Kielpinski and Ayo Shoroye scored both of Copperas Cove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Copperas Cove's draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-1. As for Gatesville, they moved theirs to 2-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copperas Cove will face off against Killeen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gatesville, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
