The Miller City Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Antwerp Archers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miller City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Miller City came up short against Continental and fell 9-4.

Peyton Michel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Teagan Rieman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Antwerp couldn't beat Woodlan on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Archers lost 16-5 to the Warriors.

Antwerp saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Clem, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Antwerp has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Miller City, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-9.
