Basketball Game Preview: East Tartans vs. Green Bobcats

East is 1-9 against Green since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The East Tartans will look to defend their home court against the Green Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

East is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They were dealt a 72-31 defeat at the hands of Notre Dame. The game marked the Tartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Green finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a hard 44-27 fall against New Hope Christian Academy. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Green now has a losing record at 7-8. As for East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Things could have been worse for East, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-49 loss to Green when the teams last played on January 3rd.
