Volleyball Recap: Mt. Olive Comes Up Short

Mt. Olive lost against Calvary on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mt. Olive started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-11, 15-7.

Mt. Olive's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Calvary, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mt. Olive is set to face off against their familiar foe Nokomis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Calvary will take on rival Pawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
