Volleyball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Georgetown-Ridge Farm lost against Arthur-Okaw Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Conquering Riders by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Buffaloes' undefeated start to the season.

Milee Ellis paced Georgetown-Ridge Farm's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ellis got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her 27 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Arthur-Okaw Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Herschberger, who had 23 assists and six kills. Those 23 assists gave Herschberger a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brileigh Mast, who had 11 kills and three blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Georgetown-Ridge Farm fell to 3-1. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.
