Volleyball Recap: Western Wildcats vs. Monarch Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Thomas Aquinas, Western was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Monarch Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wildcats have posted since August 21st.

Western was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monarch only served seven.
Western's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Monarch, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western will face off against Fort Lauderdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Lauderdale will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Western surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monarch, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Pembroke Pines Charter at 4:30 p.m.
