Basketball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

Waverly lost against Chase County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Waverly lost to Chase County on the road by a 41-23 margin.

Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Chase County, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Waverly is taking a road trip to challenge Lyndon on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Chase County surely won't give up without a fight.
