Baseball Recap: Graves County Comes Up Short

Graves County managed to slip by Jackson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 10-0 to the Fighting Indians on Saturday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Graves County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season. As for Jackson, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

Graves County has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 defeat against De Smet Jesuit on the 10th. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to take on Christian Brothers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
