Baseball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Paradise Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Tuesday.

Pilot Point's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Paradise, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pilot Point will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boyd at 7:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Paradise, they will host Callisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
