Heartland Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Colonial Christian Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won seven games in a row dating back to last season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-15.

Looking ahead, Heartland Christian will face off against Mooresville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last. As for Colonial Christian, they will challenge Indiana Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are facing the Whirlwinds at the right time seeing as the Whirlwinds are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
