Soccer Recap: Lexington Has No Trouble Against Gering

Lexington barely beat Gering the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Minutemen put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. Lexington might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lexington and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matchups. As for Gering, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Kearney Catholic on the 6th. Gering does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
