Basketball Recap: Gallup Find Success

Gallup's game on Tuesday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past the Miyamura Patriots 52-49. The Bengals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Despite the loss, Miyamura still got an impressive performance from Brody Tah, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave Tah a new career-high. Owain Belone was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Gallup and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Miyamura, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Gallup will host Kirtland Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miyamura, they will venture away from home to challenge Aztec at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
