Softball Game Preview: Clarence Red Devils vs. Lancaster Legends

The Clarence Red Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Lancaster Legends at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Clarence, who comes in off a win.

Clarence's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Gowanda. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Lancaster fell victim to Williamsville North and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0. It was the first time this season that the Legends let down their fans at home.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Clarence, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Clarence came up short against Lancaster when the teams last played back in April, falling 8-5. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
