It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Coudersport ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 50-44 victory over the Port Allegany Gators. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Port Allegany's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jarrod Funk, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 15 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 34.1% of the Gators' points, marking the fourth time in a row Funk has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Isac Amell, who scored five points and eight boards.

The win made it two in a row for Coudersport and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Port Allegany, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Coudersport and Port Allegany will both be playing Austin the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Gators will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
