Basketball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Lena-Winslow Panthers

Warren is 1-6 against Lena-Winslow since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Warren Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Lena-Winslow Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Lena-Winslow likes a good challenge.

Warren is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Benton with a sharp 88-64 win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Lena-Winslow was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Dakota.

Warren has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Lena-Winslow, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Warren came out on top in a nail-biter against Lena-Winslow in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 38-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warren since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
