Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Takes a Loss

After flying high against Minnesota Transitions last Tuesday, West Lutheran came back down to earth. The West Lutheran Warriors were beaten by Heritage Christian 76-46 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Heritage Christian are ranked 138th).

West Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Heritage Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

West Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Christian, they will challenge Avail Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Avail Academy likes a good challenge.
