The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither DeLaSalle nor Visitation made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Islanders fell 4-0 to the Blazers. The Islanders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Eva Heinecke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

DeLaSalle's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-1. As for Visitation, their record now sits at 9-1.

Coming up, DeLaSalle will square off against Chanhassen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Visitation, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Minnehaha Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
