Basketball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Marshall Cardinals 56-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pirates have suffered against the Cardinals since January 20, 2022.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.

While Waterloo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
