Jason Fultz made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Fultz has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Fultz was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with a home run.
In other batting news, Andrew Costello was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nick Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
