Soccer Game Preview: Sonora vs. Ripon

The Sonora Wildcats will challenge the Ripon Indians at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Sonora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sonora came up short against Hughson on Friday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Ripon fell victim to Ripon Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Knights. Considering the last time the Indians couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 10-10-3. As for Sonora, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
