Basketball Recap: Hickory Grove Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Hickory Grove Christian had won two straight home games and Lauren Feaster did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Hickory Grove Christian Lions strolled past the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 40-23 thanks in part to Feaster, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hickory Grove Christian's points.

Another player making a difference was Camella Flanary, who posted nine points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory got Hickory Grove Christian back to even at 11-11. As for Forsyth Home Educators, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Hickory Grove Christian will take on Westminster Catawba Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Surry HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
