Recap: Chapin Huskies vs. Andress Eagles

On Friday, the Chapin Huskies's game was all tied up 12-12 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Andress with a 35-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chapin.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chapin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Wise, who scored 12 points along with eight steals. Wise has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Gabrielle Rogers was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.

Chapin's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Andress, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

Chapin will be playing at home against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Andress, they will head out on the road to square off against El Paso at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
