Baseball Game Preview: King Wolves vs. Centennial Huskies

For the second straight game, King will face off against Centennial. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

In Monday's Canine Competition, King had to take the L. They came up short against Centennial on Monday, falling 15-8.

For Centennial's part, Evan Pe?a looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The Huskies are 2-1 when Pe?a allows one or fewer earned runs, but 8-12 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Ethan Miller was a standout: he fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Simpson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

Centennial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Centennial's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13. As for King, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
