It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Laguna Blanca can now relate to. They fell just short of the El Toro Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Laguna Blanca took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 17-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Laguna Blanca's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for El Toro, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-15.

Laguna Blanca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, El Toro and Quartz Hill will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
