Baseball Recap: Kelseyville Gets the Win

Fort Bragg typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Kelseyville proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Timberwolves by a score of 5-2. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won six in a row.

Kelseyville let Kyle Watkins and Max Hommer run wild. Watkins went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Hommer went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Watkins has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Reme Strong, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Kelseyville's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Fort Bragg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

As of now, neither Kelseyville nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
