Softball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron lost against Liberal on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bluejays came up short against the Redskins, falling 15-5. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tigi Greene was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Drew Kugler also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Liberal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cimarron will host Lakin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberal, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Southwestern Heights at 4:00 p.m.
