Volleyball Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ganesha Giants. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Giants this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-15.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Ganesha, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pomona will face off against rival Workman at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ganesha is set to challenge their familiar foe Edgewood at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
