Chavez won the last time they faced Verdugo Hills and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dons, sneaking past 3-1.

Jessica Ramos was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

Chavez's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Verdugo Hills, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chavez is set to face off against their familiar foe Arleta at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Verdugo Hills will challenge rival Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
