Volleyball Recap: Ash Grove Takes a Loss

Ash Grove suffered their biggest defeat since September 20th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Skyline Tigers. The Pirates have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

Bristol Lathrop paced Ash Grove's offense, picking up ten kills. Lathrop got some help from Millie Willmon and her 16 assists.

Ash Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8-2 record this season.

Ash Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Fordland on the 18th. As for Skyline, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Fulton on the 18th.
